[English]

This study explores the role of social innovation, supported by knowledge management, in enhancing the Iranian education system, with a focus on elementary schools in Fars province. Recognizing the importance of education in shaping national development, the research aimed to design a comprehensive model that integrates social innovation with knowledge management principles to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

A qualitative approach was employed, using purposive sampling of 15 experts to establish the framework. Data were analyzed through content analysis in ATLAS TI software, which helped identify key themes. The finalized model includes 15 main components organized into six dimensions: knowledge management (production, storage, sharing, and application of knowledge), socially innovative education (organizational culture, creativity in teaching, and executive management), information literacy (educational technology), educational excellence (strategies, content development, and organizational communication), support and resources (human and financial resource management), and educational challenges (student and social issues).

Findings indicate that the application of this model can significantly improve educational quality by fostering innovation, enhancing participation, and creating stronger knowledge infrastructures. Ultimately, it provides a pathway for sustainable development and long-term improvement of Iran’s educational system through innovative practices and effective knowledge management.
